Gateshead heads are trying to raise awareness and motivate action regarding the current financial crisis. The chairs of our 3 head teacher associations have signed a letter which all schools sent out recently. Our Year 11 team won the Gateshead Schools FA U16 Futsal Cup on Thursday 22nd November 2018. Enact Solutions Limited came to school to deliver a workshop about giving pupils their first insight into what lies ahead of them soon after starting their GCSEs. I entered the Hylton Castle story competition with a description about the chapel. However it wasn’t about the castle so I couldn’t win first, second or third for Key Stage 3, instead I got the judge’s recommendation for the most creative perspective.
