Our Year 10 GCSE Spanish students had a visit from Asa Buchanan, a solicitor at Bond Dickinson, this morning.

Asa works as a Solicitor specialising in Insolvency and restructuring in business.  He speaks Spanish and has worked as an English teacher overseas, lab technician, office administrator, warehouse worker, sales administrator, bar/hospitality and helped to set up a small business that imports and sells jewellery and crafts.

He has a Undergraduate Degree in Spots Science from Liverpool John Moors, a Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal practice from College of Law in York.

Asa talked about the benefits that come with speaking another language within employment, his career path and qualifications and where and how his employment has related to languages.
