Jack's Skydive Story
We are very proud to share the amazing fundraising efforts of one of our Year 10 students, Jack. He has worked with this charity for many years and has raised thousands of pounds. We are very lucky to have such inspirational students here at Heworth Grange. Find out what he is up to next below.
Hi, my name is Jack.
When I was 4 months old, I was diagnosed with a brain tumour on my optic nerve. I was given treatment that stabilised my condition. When I was 7, I decided that I wanted to start raising money to help others.
Over the last few years, I have raised over £150,000 for the Young Lives v Cancer charity.
I am now in year 10, and I would like to focus on my fundraising by completing a big event before I take a break to concentrate on my year 11 GCSE exams.
Therefore, I have decided to do a skydive on Saturday 20th July.
I would love it if you could support me by donating as much as you can via my Just Giving page.
Thank you.
