Students at Heworth Grange part of Consilium Academies, marked World Book Day on Thursday, 6 March. All students took part in a World Book Day Quiz during form time. All students have also been given their £1 book token to spend on a book of their choice.

Every lesson starter today focused on staff  recommending  books to read, staff reading extracts aloud and sharing trailers of the books to promote a love of reading. Students also had the opportunity to share their favourite books and discuss their favourite stories. 

This year’s theme, “Read Your Way,” encouraged children to explore reading in their own way, making it a fun and personal experience. All staff and students have thoroughly enjoyed it!
