The school is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed colleague with excellent interpersonal skills who is an advocate of inclusive practice and demonstrates a good working knowledge of SEND legislation and the role of SENDCO. A key member of the schools Inclusion Support Team, the successful applicant will be expected to lead a dedicated and committed department and through the effective use of resources available deliver the highest standards of teaching, learning and achievement for all students.
To start 1 September 2019, or as soon as possible thereafter.
The successful candidate will have:
- The ability to inspire staff and students to further improve the quality of learning and teaching
- the ability to forge productive partnerships with multi-agencies, parents and carers;
- a proven record of success as a practitioner and team leader
