We are seeking an enthusiastic and inspiring Singing Teacher to work, on a self employed basis, within our music department from September 2019. You will liaise with the music staff to encourage and prepare students for exam-related performances, grades, concerts within school and other musical events that present themselves throughout the school year.
It is essential that the successful provider has a good understanding of vocal technique and has experience of working with young and changing voices. They should be able to teach in different styles and genres as well as with students of all ages and abilities and accompany students within lessons.
The position currently involves a teaching commitment of 4 hours of small group lessons plus organising and running a singing group for 30 minutes during lunchtime.
You will be expected to satisfy the Trust’s and HMRC’s requirements for self-employment as invoices would be provided directly to the school as well as having an enhanced DBS.
